Job Summary:
Drake University's Recreational Services is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Intramural and Student Development Graduate Assistant. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting with the planning and administration of a comprehensive intramural program as well as the student development and leadership program.
This position will be offered a 10-month position, however, summer work may be available. The Graduate Assistant will be expected to work no more than 20 hours per week in exchange for $15/hour and free tuition (costs for books and fees apply).
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• Admittance and continued enrollment into a full-time Drake graduate program
Job Duties:
- 50% - Plan, promote, administer and evaluate all intramural program offerings - (Essential)
- 20% - Hire, train, supervise, pay, and evaluate student intramural officials and supervisors - (Essential)
- 15% - Serve as primary site manager for specific intramural events and building supervision - (Essential)
- 5% - Assist with professional and leadership development of student employees - (Essential)
- 5% - Maintain intramural records and reports - (Essential)
- 5% - Perform other duties, as assigned - (Essential)
