Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be expected to implement innovative teaching and learning approaches for the classroom and to develop an ongoing, fundable research program. Instructional responsibilities include courses in the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) and Master of Science in Clinical Psychopharmacology programs. Opportunities for teaching elective courses in areas related to pharmacology and/or health sciences will be available. The candidate must have a strong commitment to teaching and research mentoring at the undergraduate level.
The search committee is particularly interested in candidates who, through their research, teaching, and/or service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requirements for the position are a Ph.D. in pharmacology or closely related field. Preference is given to candidates with post-doctoral training and teaching experience in autonomic, cardiovascular, and endocrine pharmacology.
Preferred Qualifications:
Post-doctoral research experience is strongly preferred.
