Salary: $40/hour 

Department Summary:

The Drake University Community School of Music (DUCSOM) and its faculty to strive to awaken and nurture our students' musical talent. DUCSOM's students exemplify Drake University's commitment to life-long learning. We teach students of all ages - from three year-olds to senior citizens - and of all levels - from beginners to professionals. Our students contribute to the vitality of the Greater Des Moines and the surrounding Central Iowa communities, as well as to the Drake University Community.

Job Summary:

DUCSOM seeks candidate to fill part-time positions teaching non-credit piano lessons to students of all ages and levels. This is a part-time position starting as soon as possible, likely less than 15 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree in music.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience giving piano lessons.
