Department Summary:

The Drake University Community School of Music (DUCSOM) and its faculty strive to awaken and nurture our students’ musical talent. We teach students of all ages – from three year-olds to senior citizens – and of all levels – from beginners to professionals. Job Summary:

DUCSOM seeks one or more candidates to fill part-time positions teaching non-credit voice lessons to students of all ages and levels. These are part-time positions. We are looking to start instructors in both June and August, 2024, likely less than 15 hours per week.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree in music, required.

• Prior experience giving voice lessons, preferred
