Job Summary:

Drake University seeks candidates with experience in Music Production/Recording Techniques. The candidate will have training in music recording technology and will teach fundamentals of digital audio recording, including signal path, microphones, DAWs, recording software, effects, mixing, and final output. Students will work with the 32‑channel Behringer X32 system and ProTools on the DCommand Console in the Turner Jazz Center. Position starts Spring of 2027 and meets 1x per week in person.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous Music production and Recording Techniques experience

Master's degree
