Job Summary:

The Technology Training Coordinator is responsible for defining and executing training strategies that drive successful adoption of enterprise software and other technologies across the organization. They support the implementation and effective use of software applications and software-defined business processes, ensuring employees have the necessary skills for current and emerging technologies. This role focuses on delivering training content, engaging stakeholders, as well as program coordination and evaluation.

This role involves close collaboration with subject matter experts, technical teams, and business units to ensure training content is accurate and relevant. The training coordinator conducts needs assessments and works with stakeholders to identify skill gaps, aligning training initiatives with organizational goals. They develop user-friendly instructional materials by curating vendor content and creating materials that translate complex system functionality into accessible formats. Training sessions are coordinated and facilitated using various delivery methods to engage diverse learning styles. The training coordinator monitors and assesses training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, while maintaining accurate training records. Staying current on software updates and emerging technologies is essential to ensure training content remains relevant and supports continuous improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, Information Technology or a related field

- 3-5 years of experience in training, curriculum design, or learning & development

- Experience delivering training on enterprise software platforms such as ERP systems, analytics software and workflow tools.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong presentation and public speaking abilities.

- Familiar with learning management systems (LMS), video conferencing tools, and project management software

- Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint)

- Ability to manage multiple training tracks and priorities simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in higher education or other educational organization is preferred

- Experience defining learning outcomes, delivering content and evaluating program effectiveness for adult learners.

- Knowledge of Workday software and training materials.

- Experience developing and delivering Workday software training

- Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) or similar credentials

Job Duties:

  • 60% - Training Program Coordination Develop and implement training plans by designing effective learning strategies and sourcing or creating instructional materials such as manuals, handbooks, and presentations. Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, venue selection, equipment setup, and participant management. Deliver training through various modalities, including classroom instruction, virtual sessions, and on-the-job coaching. Maintain and update training content in alignment with software changes and ensure timely communication of updates to learners. Collaborate with business units and IT teams to stay informed of product updates and integrate relevant changes into training programs. - (Essential)
  • 30% - Program Development Lead the development of the technology training program by defining and implementing strategies that promote successful software adoption across the organization. Align training initiatives with organizational goals, system rollouts, and process changes. Identify software competency gaps through collaboration with management and key stakeholders and design targeted training solutions. Develop and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness, monitor progress, and report outcomes to leadership. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, provide actionable feedback to management, and deliver ongoing support and guidance to users to ensure sustained learning and engagement. - (Essential)
